A Sister so Rare

You are my sister so special and rare
Someone whom I love and truly care

Your presence in my life would be hard to replace
And a life without you in it would be hard to face

When you look in the mirror you don’t like what you see
But I see a beautiful person so special to me

Someone so kind and loving, thoughtful and rare
Who will help everyone else but give into her own fear

That life is too hard and not worth the trouble
And anything good disappears just like a burst bubble

But inside of you is a person we all know and love
And to have you in our lives we thank the heavens above

So however you see yourself at this point in time
To keep putting your self down is really a crime

Your inner beauty that you can not or will not see
Is only too obvious to everybody else, especially me

No one but you can change the way you see your self
But into many of our lives you bring immense wealth

Friendship and laughter, love and joy you bring
More than enough to make anybody’s heart sing
