Thank you

I thank the universe for the precious air I breathe
Without which this earth I would surely leave

I thank the source of all for the rain from the sky
Without which nourishing water we would all die

I thank the sun in the sky for its warming rays
Which keeps me alive and warm each  day

I thank my God for the nourishing food he grows
Whether from natures garden or which man sows

I thank nature for the magnificent beauty all around
From a beautiful flower to a birds musical sound

I thank the many trees for the oxygen they supply
Standing tall and proud, so magestic and high

I thank all the people who are apart of my life
Sharing the highs and lows, the joys and strife

I thank the world for laughter and the joy it brings
Making my heart burst and wanting to sing

So be thankful for what you have, wherever you may be
Life is full of gifts, and you are one just like me
